Based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Splashbacks of Distinction have a real passion for toughened glass in and around the home. We have transformed many properties, both commercial and domestic with our glass splashbacks, for kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms. Our toughened glass balustrades, glass shelving and splashbacks with high resolution images have really caught the imagination of people who demand beauty and functionality in their homes and offices.
The former Rushden railway station is now owned by the Rushden Historical Transport Society, which operates a museum and real ale bar. The society often holds special events, including an annual 3 day transport procession. The society aims to rebuild the branch line from Higham Ferrers to Wellingborough.
Rushden Hall is the oldest domestic building in Rushden, once owned by successive families throughout the years including the Sartoris family and the Pembertons family. The hall now functions as the head office of Rushden town council and some rooms are available for hiring. It lies in 32 acres of land which now known as Hall Park.
The English actor Anthony Higgins lives in Rushden.
